The demographic trends driving America’s birth outcomes are impossible to ignore; before, during, and after childbirth, women in the US are dying at a higher rate from pregnancy-related causes than in any other developed nation.  And For every death there are tens of thousands of women who experience pregnancy complications resulting in long term health issues. Women deserve better.
